Doha, Qatar: The Indian community in Qatar celebrated a historic literary milestone with the release of the 100th book by Doha-based Indian author and educator, Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara. The grand ceremony, held at the Skills Development Centre, brought together prominent community leaders, dignitaries, authors, and well-wishers to honor the prolific writer’s unparalleled contribution to literature and social awareness across multiple languages.

The book was officially released by JK Menon, Chairman of ABN Corporation, IBPC Qatar, and Director of Norka Roots, who presented the first copy to noted businessman and fellow Norka Roots Director, C.V. Rappai. In his keynote address, JK Menon emphasized the enduring value of writing and creative expression, stating that documenting one’s thoughts is “a noble endeavour that enriches society and inspires generations.” He encouraged the community to support such meaningful literary contributions.

Speaking on the occasion, C.V. Rappai commended
Dr. Amanulla’s relentless dedication and the diversity of his work, describing
his journey as a model of creativity and persistence. He shared his personal
appreciation for the author’s widely acclaimed motivational series Vijayamanthrangal,
urging the community to use it as a tool for self-growth and positive thinking.

Speakers praised Dr. Amanulla as a teacher, guide,
motivator, and social influencer whose works have touched people across age
groups and cultures. With publications in Malayalam, Arabic, and English, he is
considered one of the very few expatriate writers to achieve the remarkable
feat of authoring 100 books in multiple languages. Community leaders described
his literary legacy as “a treasure of knowledge, guidance, and inspiration.”
The Vijayamanthrangal
series—available in both print and audio formats-continues to be a source of
strength for readers, particularly during challenging times. Dr. Amanulla’s
works span Arabic literature, language learning, grammar, spoken Arabic, travel
writing, career guidance, and personal development.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Amanulla said he was
deeply humbled by the continuous support from Qatar and the Indian community.
“Most of my books were written during my years in Qatar. The appreciation I
have received motivates me to keep contributing to future generations,” he
said. A former Head of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Ideal
Indian School, Dr. Vadakkangara’s 100th book stands as a powerful symbol of
passion, perseverance, and purpose.
The event was
skillfully anchored by Rafi Parakkattil, who guided the proceedings with
elegance and energy.
