Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has officially inaugurated Nabaq Park in Al Thumama and Athl Park in Al Miraadh. The parks were developed in collaboration with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and adhere to the highest international standards.

This development is a part of the Ministry's broader strategy to beautify and upgrade public amenities, aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030. The initiative emphasizes sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.

Nabaq Park, located in Al Thumama, covers a total area of 3,723 square meters, with green areas making up 67% (approximately 2,494 square meters). The park boasts a variety of trees, shrubs, ground covers, and lush lawns. Visitors can enjoy a 181-meter jogging track, a children's play area for ages 6-12, a fitness zone, shaded seating, pathways, and accessible restrooms.

Meanwhile, Athl Park in Al Miraadh spans 3,368 square meters, with 55% of the park dedicated to green spaces (1,865 square meters). It features 40 trees and a range of ornamental plants. The park also includes a 192-meter jogging track, a children's play area, 776 square meters of pathways, and comfortable seating areas. The facilities are designed to be inclusive, ensuring accessibility for all visitors.
