Doha: The 3rd
Indian Mango Exhibition (Hamba Exhibition) will be held at Souq Waqif's Eastern
Square from June 18 to 27. Organised by the Private Engineering Office in
collaboration with the Embassy of India in Qatar, the event will feature the
participation of more than 35 Indian companies.
The
exhibition has grown into one of Qatar's most popular seasonal events,
attracting large numbers of visitors each year. The previous edition welcomed
more than 114,400 visitors and recorded sales of over 130,000 kilograms of
around 54 varieties of Indian mangoes, along with pickles, desserts, and other
Indian food products.
This
year's edition is expected to be the largest since its launch, with increased
participation from Indian companies and the introduction of several new mango
varieties to the Qatari market for the first time. Organisers anticipate higher
visitor turnout and stronger sales compared to previous years.
Hamba
Exhibition General Supervisor Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi said the event's
continuation for a third consecutive year reflects its remarkable success and
popularity among residents. The exhibition will be open daily from 4 pm to 10
pm.
