Doha, Qatar: Doha has secured the third position out of 62 cities surveyed across Asia in the prestigious Numbeo Quality of Life Index for 2025.
The Numbeo index assesses cities around the world based on a variety of factors including purchasing power, safety, healthcare quality, cost of living, traffic commute times, pollution levels, and climate. Doha’s impressive performance in these categories emphasizes its commitment to enhancing urban living standards and establishing itself as one of the most livable cities in the region.
According to the ranking indices, Doha achieved a score of 178.7 in the Quality of Life Index, along with a significant 151.8 in the purchasing power index, indicating the city's strong economic position. In terms of safety, it earned an impressive score of 84.1, while its Healthcare Index stood at 73.4.
The city also have a relatively low cost of living, scoring 47.8. Additionally, Doha recorded a Property Price to Income Ratio of 6.2 and a Traffic Commute Time Index of 29.1. The Pollution Index and Climate Index were noted at 59.9 and 36.0, respectively. Doha ranked closely behind Abu Dhabi and Muscat, the top two.
