Doha, Qatar: The legendary Indian musician Ilaiyaraaja is set to perform in Doha for the first time on October 3, 2025, at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

Ilaiyaraaja is celebrated as a multifaceted musician, composer, arranger, conductor, orchestrator, and playback singer. He is particularly renowned for his contributions to Indian cinema, especially in Tamil films, while also making a mark in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi movies.

Widely regarded as one of the most prolific composers in India, Ilaiyaraaja’s impressive career spans over forty-nine years. He has crafted more than 8,600 songs, provided musical scores for around 1,523 feature films across nine languages, and has performed in over 20,000 concerts, showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication to music.
