Doha, Qatar: The QIFF Super Cup 2025 Friday fixtures delivered a thrilling trio of matches at Doha Stadium, with Kasargod, Ernakulam, and Malappuram showcasing commanding performances across the day
In the first
match, Oryx Kasargod registered a confident 2–0 victory over Travancore FC,
controlling the tempo from start to finish.
Kasargod opened the scoring early through Alfas (Jersey No.27) in the 9th minute, followed by a composed finish from Badusha (Jersey No.5) in the 35th minute to secure the win.

For his exceptional defensive display and match control, Yaseen was named Man of the Match.
The second match saw United Ernakulam claim a solid 2–0 win against Wayanad Kootam.
Ernakulam took the lead in the 11th minute with a sharp strike from Jeremiah Sebastian (Jersey No.12), before Zainul Abid (Jersey No.4) doubled the advantage in the 28th minute.

Abdurahim earned the Man of the Match title for his influential presence and consistent performance throughout the game.
The final
match of the day belonged entirely to Grand Mall Malappuram FC, who delivered a
sensational 8–0 triumph over Hot & Cool Kannur, marking one of the most
dominant victories of the tournament so far.
Malappuram’s
goal run began in the 23rd minute and continued relentlessly until the 70th,
with goals coming from Nawaf, Aashiq, Suhail, Sujin, Tawfiq, and a stunning
hat-trick by Jamsheer, who netted three goals, becoming the first player of the
tournament to achieve a hat-trick.
For his
explosive performance and clinical finishing, Jamsheer was awarded Man of the
Match.
