Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has highlighted the Metrash authorisation service that enables residents to register their family members, including wives and children, to use the Metrash mobile application even if they do not have a phone number registered in their own name.
In
an infographic shared on its official social media platforms, the ministry
explained that the service allows users to authorise family members through a
simple digital process, supporting easier access to essential government services.
According
to the MoI, the service is available under the ‘Delegation’ option within the
Metrash app. Users can access it by opening the main menu, selecting
‘Delegation’, and then choosing ‘Relative Registration’ from the listed
services.
The authorised
person must enter the required personal details of the family member along with
the phone number intended for activation. Once the information is submitted and
confirmed, the relative is immediately authorised to activate and use the
Metrash application on the specified device.
