Doha, Qatar: Qatar has unveiled Qai, a national artificial intelligence company established to advance the country’s digital capabilities and support innovation-led growth. Operating under the Qatar Investment Authority, Qai will play a central role in developing secure, scalable AI infrastructures aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.

The company aims to provide advanced computing tools, smart technologies, and integrated AI solutions for key sectors, enabling organisations to train and deploy next-generation systems with confidence. Through global partnerships and collaboration with research institutions, Qai seeks to attract top talent and strengthen Qatar’s innovation ecosystem.

Chairman Abdullah bin Hamad Al Misnad said the initiative comes at a time when AI is reshaping industries worldwide. He emphasized that Qai will champion responsible, human-centred AI development while reinforcing Qatar’s position as a regional leader in digital transformation and sustainable economic progress.
