Doha: The 12th edition of the Doha Ramadan Meet, organized by Youth Forum Qatar in association with the Doha International Centre for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID), is set to take place on Friday, March 14, at Qatar Sports Club. Recognized as the largest Ramadan gathering of the Indian diaspora in Qatar, the event aims to promote love, brotherhood, unity, and morality at a time when divisive forces threaten social harmony. With an expected turnout of around 2,000 youth from across Qatar, the meet will commence at 4 PM and conclude with a grand Iftar gathering.
A
comprehensive organizing committee has been formed to ensure the smooth
execution of the event. Youth Forum Qatar President Binshad Punathil leads the
efforts alongside Chairman and Central Executive Committee Member Abdusshukur,
who serves as the General Convener. T.A. Faisal and Arif Ahmed have been
appointed as Assistant Conveners to oversee various operational aspects of the
event.
Several
key figures have taken charge of different departments to ensure seamless
coordination. Amin Arshad is responsible for the venue, Shafiq Koppath for
logistics, Faris M.N. for food arrangements, and Asjad Ali for traffic and
security management. Additionally, Naeem will handle registrations, Rashad P
will oversee the stage setup, K.A. Arif is in charge of guest management, and Muhsin
will coordinate media-related activities.
The Doha Ramadan Meet has grown into a symbol of unity and cultural inclusivity, fostering dialogue and strengthening bonds among the Indian diaspora in Qatar. By bringing together youth from diverse backgrounds under a shared spirit of Ramadan, the event highlights the values of compassion, peace, and communal solidarity that define the holy month.
