Doha:
Qatar's Ministry of Interior (MOI) has issued a safety advisory for Wednesday,
April 15, 2026, urging beachgoers to avoid all marine activities. The warning
comes in response to adverse weather conditions, including strong northwesterly
winds and high sea waves forecasted for today and tomorrow.
The
Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) previously noted that the country is
currently in the "Muqaddam" period, a 13-day transition marked by
rising temperatures and unstable weather patterns.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents during this period of rough sea conditions.
