Dubai: Dr. Mohamad Nazar Moopan, the Medical Director and senior ENT Consultant of Aster DM Healthcare Qatar, passed away in Dubai at the age of 69. A highly respected figure in the medical community, Dr. Moopan served as a leading ENT specialist across several countries, including Qatar, and was widely known for his clinical expertise and compassionate care.

Dr. Nazar completed his medical education at Kozhikode Medical College and J.J.M. Medical College, Mysore. He joined Aster DM Healthcare in 2002 and played a pivotal role in the organization's growth and success over the past two decades. His contributions were instrumental in strengthening the healthcare network, especially in the Gulf region. He was also a close family member of Aster DM Healthcare's founder and chairman, Dr. Azad Moopen, being the son of his sister.

Dr. Moopan is survived by his wife Wahida and three children — Nada and Nimmi residing in Dubai, and Zain in Australia. He also leaves behind sons-in-law Hani, Darvish, and daughter-in-law Nahida. He was the son of the late Dr. Zainuddin Moopan and the late Sulaikha. The medical community mourns the loss of a dedicated and compassionate physician whose legacy will continue to inspire.
