Cairo: A 28-year-old Egyptian flight
attendant who was preparing to return home for her wedding was among those
killed in Saturday's Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in
Riyadh, sparking widespread grief in her hometown in Egypt's Beheira
governorate.
Azza Ramzi, a flight attendant with Saudi
carrier flynas, died from severe injuries sustained while performing her duties
at the airport during the attack. Her death has shocked residents of
Mahmoudiyah in northern Egypt, particularly the Al-Atf area where her family
lives.
The tragedy has drawn widespread sympathy
after reports emerged that Ramzi was preparing to travel back to Egypt for her
wedding, scheduled to take place within days. Social media platforms in Egypt
have been flooded with messages of condolence and tributes to the young flight
attendant.

The fatalities included four Saudi citizens, two Bangladeshis, and one national each from Egypt, the United States, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Sudan.
