Several Gulf nations,
including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman, reported
no hostile aerial activity on April 9, marking the first extended pause in such
incidents since the conflict with Iran began on February 28.
In a statement, the
UAE’s Defence Ministry confirmed that the country remained “free of any air
threats” during the day, indicating a notable shift from recent patterns of
missile and drone activity.
Meanwhile, the armed
forces of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman issued no alerts or reports of aerial
attacks, in contrast to previous days when multiple incidents had been recorded
across the region.
Bahrain released an updated assessment of missiles and drones launched by Iran since the start of the conflict but did not report any new incidents for the day, suggesting a temporary lull in hostilities.
