Doha: Podar Pearl School successfully hosted Wonder Quest 2026, its annual academic learning expo, transforming the campus into a vibrant arena of inquiry, innovation, and experiential learning. Bringing together students, educators, and parents, the event celebrated the intellectual curiosity, creativity, and collaborative spirit that continue to shape the school's educational journey.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. C. Mohammed Nizar, President, in the presence of Guests of Honour Mr. Pranav Pradeep and Dr. Steffy Rachel Sam, Vice Presidents, along with Board of Directors Ms. Shamna Althaf and Mr. Anwar P.P. Adding a distinctive touch to this year's exhibition was 'Owly', the event's endearing new mascot. Symbolising wisdom, curiosity, and growth, Owly became the guiding spirit of Wonder Quest 2026, inspiring students and visitors to reflect on the school's heritage, celebrate its present achievements, and envision the possibilities ahead.
Students from Classes 1 to 12 brought their learning beyond the classroom, presenting an impressive range of projects and interactive exhibits across English Language, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Physical Education, Computer Science, and Robotics. Through presentations, demonstrations, and research-based displays, students translated complex concepts into engaging and accessible learning experiences.
The exhibition also offered visitors an opportunity to explore the educational philosophy and heritage of Podar Pearl School. Dedicated displays provided insights into the Podar curriculum and academic framework represented through Podar's Shikshan Publication. An engaging "treasure trail" invited visitors to discover significant milestones in the school's journey, while highlighting the integration of Ministry of Education and Higher Education initiatives and community-oriented programmes into students' learning experiences.
Wonder Quest 2026 was designed around key
educational priorities including deep conceptual understanding, meaningful
engagement, collaborative learning, quality enhancement, and inclusive
participation. The event particularly highlighted three defining dimensions of
student learning: deep mastery of concepts, with students demonstrating strong
understanding of subjects ranging from historical narratives to contemporary
scientific advancements; collaboration and collective learning, with teams
working together to research, conceptualise, create, and present their
exhibits; and quality and creative excellence, with exhibits reflecting notable
progression in research, conceptual depth, presentation, and creative
execution.
More than an annual showcase, Wonder Quest 2026 represented a celebration of learning in action, providing students with a platform to question, investigate, create, and communicate. The exhibition concluded on a high note, reaffirming Podar Pearl School's commitment to creating learning experiences that extend beyond textbooks and empower young minds to think independently, embrace innovation, and approach the future with imagination and purpose.
