Doha, Qatar: Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW) 2025, the nation's premier community-driven initiative dedicated to sustainability, is set to return for its 10th edition from November 1-8.

Led by the Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future, a member of Qatar Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, this event aims to encourage participation from Qatar's community, government, NGOs, and private sector in sustainability-focused activities and projects.

Dr. Gonzalo Castro de la Mata, Executive Director of Earthna, highlighted the evolution of QSW over the past decade from a mere awareness campaign to a significant movement that has engaged over 750,000 participants. "Over the past decade, Qatar Sustainability Week has grown from an awareness campaign into a nationwide movement driving measurable change,” he stated, expressing gratitude to long-term partners, especially the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

Engineer Ahmed Mohammed Al-Sada, Assistant Undersecretary for Climate Change Affairs, emphasized the Ministry's unwavering support for QSW 2025, aligning with its mission to enhance collaboration and raise environmental awareness. He praised Earthna's efforts and reiterated the Ministry's commitment to advancing Qatar's National Vision, ensuring that social and economic growth is achieved alongside environmental sustainability.
