Doha: The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a weather alert, warning of strong northwesterly winds expected to affect the country this Wednesday and Thursday, April 15 and 16, 2026.

Winds are forecast to range from fresh to strong, which will likely stir up dust and lead to reduced horizontal visibility across various regions. In addition to the conditions inshore, the department has also issued a marine warning for the same period, advising against sea activities due to rough conditions.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to remain cautious and stay updated on official weather reports as these midweek conditions develop.
