Thousands marched in Washington, D.C., on Saturday to protest the policies of Donald Trump and his Republican Party, just days before the billionaire returns to the Oval Office. Organized by civil rights and social justice groups, including those behind the 2017 Women’s March, the “People’s March” highlighted issues such as abortion access, climate change, gun violence, and immigrant rights. Similar demonstrations were planned nationwide, including in New York.

Reports suggest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents may conduct a week-long operation in Chicago involving hundreds of personnel.
