Washington: US President Donald Trump has said the war with Iran will end “very soon”, without providing details on a possible resolution. He reiterated that Iran would not be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued an open letter to US voters ahead of the November midterm elections, calling for a change in the Trump administration’s policies.

Oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz have also increased, with Kpler data showing average flows of around 13.2 million barrels per day over the past week, although traffic remains below pre-war levels.
