Doha, Qatar: The Qatar National Blood Donation Center has issued an urgent appeal for blood donors with O-negative (O-) and A-negative (A-) blood types to meet a critical shortage.
In a statement on X, the center urged
all eligible donors to come forward and make a life-saving contribution.
Donations can be made at the center located within Hamad Medical Corporation
(HMC).
The center operates from Sunday to
Thursday, 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. It
remains closed on Fridays.
