Hajj 2025: Approximately 85% of preparations of camps for Qatari pilgrims completed

The Qatari Hajj Mission has announced that approximately 85 percent of the preparations for the designated pilgrim camps at the holy sites in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah have been completed. These preparations have been executed in accordance with a comprehensive operational plan that adheres to the highest standards and specifications, ensuring quality and addressing the needs of all pilgrims in full collaboration with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Issa Nasser Al Humaidi, Head of the Pilgrimage Services Unit, confirmed that preparations are progressing rapidly, guided by a precise timeline to ensure the completion of all work prior to the commencement of the month of Dhu al-Hijah. This initiative aims to provide comfort and safety for pilgrims during their religious rites.

Following the previous Hajj season, the unit undertook the implementation of the work plan, which involved field trips to the holy sites. Coordination meetings were held with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to facilitate this process.

Al Humaidi further stated that all camps have been equipped with essential amenities to promote the comfort and safety of the pilgrims. These amenities include air-conditioned accommodations, restroom facilities, ablution areas, ventilation and cooling systems, as well as catering services, electricity, and water supplies. Additionally, all safety, security, and organizational protocols have been meticulously observed.
