Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the successful completion of the second phase of the Corniche Street rehabilitation and improvement project, further enhancing one of Doha’s most iconic waterfront roads.

According to Ashghal, the latest phase covered the section extending from the Old Doha Port Intersection to the Diwan Intersection. The works included the complete repaving of the asphalt surface, in addition to the refurbishment of road markings and lane lines to improve visibility and ensure a smoother and safer driving experience for motorists.

The Corniche Street upgrade forms part of Ashghal’s broader road maintenance and enhancement program aimed at improving road quality, safety standards, and traffic flow across key areas in the capital. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to delivering sustainable and high-quality infrastructure that supports Qatar’s ongoing urban development and transportation goals.
