Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, through its mosques management department, has officially inaugurated the Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al-Thani Mosque in the Jeryan Jenaihat area.
Built on a 1,300 square meter plot, the mosque's opening follows extensive renovations as part of the Ministry's initiative to expand and upgrade mosques throughout Qatar.
This project is in align with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to accommodate urban development and population growth.
The newly opened mosque has a main prayer hall for men, a dedicated women's prayer area, and an ablution facility for men, along with a striking minaret.
