Doha, Qatar: Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), the inaugural Doha International Music and Marching Festival, also known as Doha Tattoo, debuted on Tuesday, December 16.
The opening event was graced by His Excellency Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, along with senior state officials.
This event marked a significant evening for Qatar, adding a new chapter to its cultural and artistic journey by emphasizing military music as a universal cultural language that unites nations.
Organized by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with Visit Qatar, the festival will run until December 20, featuring distinguished regional and international military bands for a global celebration of military music and marching traditions.
