Doha, Qatar: Brazil's Flamengo has secured their place in the final of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025 after a decisive 2-0 victory over Egypt's Pyramids FC in a Challenge Cup match held on Saturday at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. 

Danilo and Leo Pereira were the key contributors, scoring goals in the 24th and 52nd minutes, respectively.

Flamengo will now face France's Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Wednesday. Having recently clinched the Copa Libertadores for the fourth time in their history, Flamengo advanced to the semi-finals by overcoming Mexico's Cruz Azul with a score of 2-1 in the "Derby of the Americas."
