Doha, Qatar: The Director of the Public Parks Department at the Ministry of Municipality, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sada, has announced exciting plans to open additional public parks across various municipalities, which will increase the total number of parks in the country to 160. Al Sada highlighted the popularity of public parks during the holy month of Ramadan, as families and individuals from diverse backgrounds flock to these spaces, drawn by the pleasant weather. He noted that many families prefer to break their fast at public parks during Maghreb time, taking advantage of the comprehensive facilities available, such as seating areas, prayer rooms, restrooms, and designated spaces for sports and children's activities.

The Director also pointed out a remarkable rise in park visitors, attributing this surge to the dedicated efforts made to enhance the parks' appeal and accessibility.
