Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's decision to cut electricity supplies to the Gaza Strip, calling it a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. 

As per the statement released today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that the Israeli occupation's policies, which focus on besieging the Palestinian people in Gaza and hindering the delivery of humanitarian aid, aim to impose starvation and heighten tensions in the region. The ministry called on the international community to take decisive action to ensure the protection of the Palestinian people.

Additionally, the ministry reaffirmed Qatar's unwavering support for the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to establish an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
