Washington: Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, met with US Vice President J.D. Vance and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington.
The discussions centered on strengthening the strategic relations between Qatar and the United States and ways to support and develop them.
The meeting also addressed regional developments, during which Vice President Vance reiterated the United States' solidarity with Qatar, emphasizing the potential of diplomatic solutions to resolve regional issues. He praised Qatar's persistent mediation efforts and its pivotal role in fostering peace, highlighting Qatar as a dependable strategic ally.
His Excellency Prime Minister reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to safeguarding its security and sovereignty amidst the ongoing Israeli conflict. He expressed gratitude for the robust partnership with the United States and its unwavering support for Qatar's sovereignty and regional peace initiatives.
