Doha, Qatar: Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation (QF), attended the National Sport Day activities at Education City, joining community members in a vibrant celebration focused on health, inclusion, and wellbeing. Events were held across multiple venues, including Education City Stadium and Oxygen Park, drawing strong participation from families, students, and sports enthusiasts.

Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson of QF, also attended the activities at Education City Stadium, which served as the central hub of the celebrations. The programme featured collaborations with 13 national sports federations and Qatar Sports Club, offering students exposure to a wide range of sporting disciplines.
The
Education City Run: Color Edition attracted 1,800 participants, with part of
the proceeds supporting Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, reinforcing the
social impact of sport. The finals of the fifth Women and Girls Football
Initiative were also held, with Sheikha Hind presenting awards to the winning
teams.
At Oxygen Park, families and children enjoyed inclusive sporting activities, including programmes supporting young athletes with disabilities. The day also featured yoga sessions and expert-led health talks on wellbeing, highlighting Qatar Foundation’s commitment to promoting an active and informed community.
