China has expressed full support for the peace plan in Gaza initiated by Egypt and other Arab nations, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced on Friday. He emphasized that Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people and is an inseparable part of Palestinian territory, warning that any attempt to change its status by force would only lead to further chaos.

Wang called for a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire, increased humanitarian aid, and adherence to the principle of "the Palestinians governing Palestine." He also urged global efforts to support Gaza’s reconstruction and reinforce the two-state solution, emphasizing the need for greater international backing for Palestinian statehood.

Highlighting the Palestinian issue as central to Middle East stability, Wang urged all Palestinian factions to uphold the Beijing Declaration to achieve unity and self-reliance. He reaffirmed China's commitment to supporting Palestine and promoting long-term peace in the region.
