Qatar Charity, with the support of the generous contributions of the Qatari people, organized the largest Iftar table on the first day of Ramadan in the Gaza Strip. This initiative, part of the "Giving Live On" campaign, aims to alleviate the suffering of displaced families and vulnerable groups, including orphans, amid dire living conditions.

The grand Iftar event took place in the Zeitoun and Shuja'iyya neighborhoods of Gaza, benefiting over 7,000 individuals who received ready-to-eat meals. This initiative is just one facet of Qatar Charity's ongoing Iftar project throughout Ramadan, designed to provide essential support to families grappling with resource shortages and soaring food prices due to limited humanitarian aid.

Current UN reports indicate that more than 90 percent of Gaza's population faces severe food insecurity, making such initiatives crucial for survival. The Iftar event not only provided meals but also featured spiritual and recreational activities, fostering connections among families and reinforcing community bonds at the start of this holy month.

Qatar Charity's "Giving Live On" campaign for the 1446 AH - 2025 AD season aims to reach 4.5 million beneficiaries in need across 40 countries, with a particular focus on Gaza and other crisis-stricken areas. The organization plans to implement various seasonal projects, including Iftar meals, Eid clothing, and Zakat Al-Fitr, with expectations of benefiting over 250,000 people.

In light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis, Qatar Charity is calling on the public to support its Ramadan campaign, ensuring that as many individuals in need as possible receive assistance during this significant time.
