Doha: The IWA Diwali Bazaar, held on 22 October at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) premises, provided a vibrant platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase their talents, display their products and generate income through their enterprises. The event celebrated women’s creativity, business initiatives and entrepreneurial spirit, bringing together participants from across the Indian community in Qatar.

The bazaar was inaugurated by the Ambassador of India to Qatar, H.E. Dr. K. Shrikar Reddy, and his spouse, Mrs. Prathima Reddy. Mr. Manikandan and Mr. Shantanu, President and Vice President of ICC, respectively, also graced the occasion. IWA President Dr. Sunita Chaturvedi expressed her appreciation for their presence, noting that it added prestige to the event and enhanced the enthusiasm of the participants.

As
Patron of IWA, Mrs. Prathima Reddy visited every stall, interacted with the
exhibitors and showed keen interest in their products and entrepreneurial
journeys. Despite her busy schedule, she devoted time to each participant,
making them feel valued and encouraged. Her warm words of appreciation and
personal engagement inspired the women entrepreneurs and were deeply
appreciated by the exhibitors.
More
than a festive marketplace, the IWA Diwali Bazaar brought together Indian
women, including both IWA members and non-members, in a spirit of inclusion and
celebration. The event highlighted women's talent, creativity and enterprise
while reinforcing IWA's commitment to empowering women and creating meaningful
opportunities for them within the Indian community in Qatar.
