Doha: Lusail International Circuit (LIC) will host the 2027 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar from March 12 to 14, 2027, with the event confirmed as the second round of the MotoGP World Championship. The Qatar round will once again be the championship’s only night race.

The 5.38km circuit, featuring 16 turns and a long main straight, has hosted MotoGP since 2004 and made history in 2008 by staging the sport’s first-ever night race. The 2027 weekend will also feature the Tissot Sprint on Saturday ahead of the main Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 2027 race will be the first Qatar MotoGP event of the new 850cc era and is expected to play an important role in the early championship standings. LIC will also host the Qatar 1812 KM – FIA World Endurance Championship from March 25 to 27, just two weeks after MotoGP. Ticket launch details will be announced at tickets.lcsc.qa
