Doha: The Ministry of Interior has reiterated its warning against sharing rumours and unverified information, stressing that spreading false or misleading content can negatively impact public security and social stability. The Ministry noted that forwarding or reposting unconfirmed news, particularly from unreliable sources, contributes to misinformation and may lead to legal consequences.

Authorities urged the public to rely only on official sources for accurate updates and avoid engaging with suspicious content on social media. The Ministry also called on residents to report questionable accounts or information through official channels such as the Metrash app, reaffirming that strict action will be taken against violators.
