Doha: The Department of Meteorology has forecast misty to foggy conditions in inshore areas on Friday, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a chance of scattered rain, possibly thundery at times. Poor horizontal visibility is expected, particularly in southern parts of the country, and residents are advised to be cautious while travelling.

Offshore areas will also experience hazy to misty conditions initially, with chances of thundery rain accompanied by strong winds and high seas. The department has warned marine users to remain alert as sea conditions may become rough during thundery activity.
