Qatar Charity (QC) has successfully launched an economic empowerment project in Bangladesh aimed at supporting vulnerable families. The initiative provides income-generating assets to help families build stable and self-reliant lives.
Benefiting 380 families, approximately 1,900 people, the project distributed 140 motorised rickshaws, 140 cargo tricycles, and 100 grinding machines, equipping recipients with practical means to earn a daily income and escape poverty.
The distribution ceremony was held in Durgapur, Rajshahi, attended by the director of Qatar Charity's office in Bangladesh, alongside officials, local representatives, and civil society members.
