Doha, Qatar: Qatar Charity is set to launch the "27th Night Challenge," the largest YouTube fundraising event, as part of its Ramadan campaign "Giving Lives On." Scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, 2025, the event aims to raise QR 40 million to support the reconstruction of 1,500 homes in Syria. This initiative seeks to help displaced families return and restore essential services for a safer, more stable environment.

The event, under the slogan "Rebuilding Hope," will be held at Wisdom Square in the Katara Cultural Village and will feature prominent social media influencers. It will also include live video interactions with Syrian influencers and media figures from displacement camps in Syria.

The reconstruction project, funded by the event, will take place in the Hama countryside, an area severely affected by bombings, aiming to restore homes and infrastructure such as health centres, mosques, schools and more.
