An emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers kicked off yesterday in Istanbul, Türkiye, with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in attendance. The ministers focused on recent developments in the Middle East, particularly the Iran-Israel conflict and its regional implications.

Turkish sources reported that the ministers engaged in closed-door discussions, set to be followed by a press conference detailing key findings and recommendations concerning the ongoing escalation in the area.

This urgent meeting coincides with the gathering of foreign ministers from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which is scheduled to begin on Saturday and continue through Sunday in Istanbul.
