Doha, Qatar: Mangalore FC successfully wrapped up Season 4 of its annual Football Premier League Tournament at Pearling School, Doha, uniting community members, football enthusiasts, and skilled players for an action-packed day of spirited competition. The event once again showcased the club’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community bonds through sports.
The tournament began with an inspiring inauguration ceremony attended by notable guests, including Mr. Imran Bava, President of SKMWA; Mr. Sandesh, President of Tulukootah; Mr. Mak Adoor, President of Oryx FC Kasaragod; along with Mr. Ayyub and Mr. Kamal. The proceedings were hosted by Master of Ceremony Mr. Saleem Ali, whose engaging presence elevated the energy and excitement of the event.
Mangalore FC President Mr. Shaheer extended a warm welcome to all attendees and highlighted the significance of community-driven sporting initiatives. He emphasized the club’s mission to promote unity, teamwork, and youth development, acknowledging the collective support that continues to drive the growth and success of Mangalore FC.
Five competitive teams took part in this year's
Premier League: Haddock FC (owned by Mr. Shanawaz), AJAX FC (owned by Mr.
Naveed), Seasara FC (owned by Mr. Mustafa), BYBFC (managed by Mr. Nithin Shetty),
and Dream Villa FC (owned by Mr. Sharafuddin). After a series of thrilling
matches, the final showdown witnessed BYBFC and AJAX FC battling for the
championship title.
In a nail-biting finale, BYBFC clinched the
championship trophy, demonstrating remarkable resilience and teamwork. AJAX FC
earned the runners-up position, winning admiration for their commendable
performance. Mangalore FC expressed heartfelt gratitude to Event Sponsor ISUZU - Jaidah Group, Co-sponsor Walltech, as well as all participants, supporters,
and volunteers for making Season 4 a memorable and impactful event. The club
reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing football talent and fostering community
engagement in the years ahead.
