M.E.S Indian School marked India’s 76th Republic Day with grandeur and patriotic spirit on Sunday, 26th January 2025, at the school’s Conference Hall. The event featured captivating patriotic songs and vibrant group dances performed by students, showcasing India’s cultural diversity and unity.
Mr.
Hazmal Ismail, General Secretary of the M.E.S Governing Board, served as the
chief guest, while Mr. M.C. Muhammed, a school management member, graced the
occasion. Following the flag hoisting by Mr. Ismail, the National Anthem was
performed by the school choir. In his address, Mr. Ismail encouraged students
to tackle societal issues like corruption and indifference, urging them to work
toward building a brighter, unified India.
Dr.
Hameeda Kadar, the school’s Principal, emphasized the institution’s commitment
to nurturing patriotic and socially responsible citizens. She urged everyone to
uphold the Constitution’s values and contribute positively to the nation’s
progress.
The celebration concluded with students enthusiastically waving the Indian tricolor, spreading messages of peace and harmony. Parents, teachers, and school officials joined in witnessing the event, which was skillfully coordinated by Cultural Coordinators Mr. Anver K. and Mrs. Sumitha Abdul Nasar.
