Doha, Qatar: Demonstrating outstanding eloquence, spiritual insight, and academic excellence, MES Indian School emerged as the Overall Champion at the 9th Uswa-e-Rasul Interschool Elocution and Holy Quran Recitation Competition, held at Ideal Indian School, Doha, on October 12, 2025. The prestigious event brought together expatriate schools from the Indian subcontinent, including India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, with 19 leading institutions participating in various categories.
The
competitions were conducted in both Junior and Senior categories for boys and
girls, centered around the noble character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH). The Junior Category participants delivered speeches on “The
Mercy and Compassion of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)”, while the Senior
Category addressed “Social Justice Principles Established by Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH)”. MES Indian School secured the highest cumulative
points across all events, earning the coveted Overall Championship Trophy.
In the Elocution Competition, MES students delivered remarkable
performances — Miss
Fathima Shifa (Class X) won First Prize in the Senior Category,
and Miss Aaesha Fathima (Class IX)
secured Third Prize in the Junior
Category. Meanwhile, in the Holy Quran Recitation Competition,
Master Mohammad Umair Mujeeb
(Class VII) earned First Prize in the Junior Category, and Master Abdul Rahman
achieved Third Prize in the Senior
Category, further strengthening the school’s overall position.
Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winners for their dedication, sincerity, and exemplary performance. She highlighted that these achievements reflect MES Indian School’s continued commitment to fostering value-based education, articulate communication, and deep spiritual learning, in alignment with the moral and ethical teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
