Doha, Qatar: As part of Qatar Sports Day celebrations, Paris United Group organized an exciting badminton tournament at Alpha Cambridge School in Al Meshaf, drawing enthusiastic participation and a large audience. A total of 24 teams competed in the event, creating a lively atmosphere filled with energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The
tournament officially began at 9 am with an opening ceremony attended by Paris
Group Managing Director Mohammed Ismail Thenangalil and CEO Shahid. They
encouraged participants to actively engage in sports and emphasized the
importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
Following
a series of competitive and closely contested matches, Yellow Tech Garage
emerged as the champions with an outstanding performance. Paris Hypermarket Wakra
secured second place, while Paris Head Office finished third, earning applause
for their strong and determined efforts on the court.
During the
closing ceremony, Group HR Head John Clement distributed trophies and prizes to
the winning teams. The tournament showcased the sporting spirit within the
organization and strengthened unity among employees, reflecting Paris United
Group’s dedication to promoting fitness, teamwork, and community values on
Qatar Sports Day.
