A private Bombardier Challenger 600 carrying eight people crashed during takeoff at Bangor International Airport in the US state of Maine on Sunday evening, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The incident occurred around 7:45 pm amid severe winter storm conditions affecting the region.
There was no
immediate information on the condition of those on board. Emergency crews
responded swiftly, and the airport was temporarily closed. The FAA and the
National Transportation Safety Board have launched an investigation into the
crash.
