Qatari team won first place at 47th CISM World Parachuting Championships 2025

The Qatari men's team secured first place in the team competition at the 47th CISM World Parachuting Championships 2025, held in Doha. The event, hosted at Umm Al Shokhot Airport, will continue until November 23.


The Qatari air sports team, consisting of seven athletes, excelled in the target accuracy competition, claiming the top spot. The Czech team took second place, followed by the Swiss team in third.


In the men's individual category, Qatari athlete Khalid Shajaa emerged as the champion in target accuracy, surpassing German athlete Robin Kröschmeier, who claimed second place. Mohammed Al Marri, also from Qatar, secured third place in the same category.


Qatar is represented by seven athletes in the championship, five of whom form a single team, with two competing in the junior category. The event features 320 skydivers from 30 countries, competing in four-person formation, style, and target landing events for both men and women.
