Doha: Registration has opened for the 20th Asian Medical Camp, jointly organised by the Centre for Indian Community (CIC) and the Indian Doctors Club, with the approval and cooperation of the Qatar Primary Healthcare Corporation, Hamad Medical Corporation and the Ministry of Health.

inaugurated the registration process. CIC General Secretary Arshad E, Medical Camp General
Convener Noufal Paleri,
Assistant General Convener Mushtaq K. H,
Medical Section Convener Dr. Naseem,
and departmental convenors K. V. Noorudheen,
Suhail Abdullah, Abdul Jaleel M. M, Salman, N. P. Ashraf, Abdul Jabbar, Muneesh
A. C and Sidheeque Vengara, among others, attended the ceremony.
The medical
camp, described as one of the largest
medical camps in the GCC, will be held at Umm Al Saneem Health Center on Friday, October 30, from 4pm to 6pm.
More than 2,500 patients who have
registered in advance will have access to detailed health check-ups. The
programme will also include preliminary
examinations, health-awareness sessions and training classes for the
general public.
The camp will
receive support from several organisations and institutions in Qatar’s
healthcare sector. The Qatar Red
Crescent and Qatar Diabetic
Association will participate, along with support from organisations
including Wellcare Group, United Nurses
of India Qatar, Indian Pharmacist Association Qatar and Indian Physiotherapy
Forum Qatar.
