Mohammed Shah Ayancheri has been named General Secretary and Kareem Haji Kaladi as Finance Secretary in the newly formed ICF Qatar National Committee.
Doha: The ICF Qatar has unveiled its newly restructured National Committee as part of a significant organizational revamp following a month-and-a-half-long membership campaign themed “Keep Your Head Up.” The campaign led to the reorganization of 74 units and the formation of new division and regional leadership frameworks.
Ahmed Saqafi Perambra has been elected as the new President of ICF Qatar. Supporting him are Deputy Presidents Azeez Saqafi Paloli, Abdussalam Haji Pappinissery, and Jamaluddin Azhari. Muhammed Shah Ayanchery will serve as People's Secretary, while Abdul Kareem Haji Kaladi has taken charge as Finance Secretary.
Key roles in the new leadership structure include Ummer Kunduthode (Organizing and Training), PVC Abdurahman (Admin and IT), Noushad Athirumada (PR and Media), Ummer Haji Puthupadam (Welfare and Service), Ashraf Saqafi Thiruvallur (Publication), and Rahmatullah Saqafi Cheekode (Taskiya). Additionally, Jawaduddin Saqafi will lead the Women Empowerment wing, Fakhrudheen Peringottukara will oversee Moral Education, Engineer Abdul Hameed will manage the Knowledge sector, and Haris Vadakara will handle Harmony and Eminence. Siddique Karingappa has been assigned to the Economic and Karunya sectors.
The ICF Council meeting was chaired by Paravanna Abdul Razak Musalyar and officially inaugurated by Abdul Karim Haji Memunda. Department secretaries presented their respective reports during the session.
A special class was conducted by Kerala Muslim Jamaat State General Secretary N Ali Abdullah. The campaign and reorganization efforts were coordinated by RO Abdul Hameed Chavakkad. Siraj Chovva delivered the welcome address, while Muhammed Shah Ayancheri concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
The newly restructured ICF aims to strengthen community engagement and advance its mission of promoting social, educational, and cultural development among the Indian diaspora in Qatar.
