Doha: The Malappuram Jilla Pravasi Association-Qatar (Majestic-Malappuram) hosted a grand Iftar gathering, bringing together around a thousand attendees in a heartfelt celebration of unity and love. The event celebrated the spirit of Ramadan while serving as a meaningful reunion for the Indian community in Doha, strengthening bonds of friendship and cultural heritage.
Distinguished
guests, including ICC President A.P. Manikantan, ICBF President Shanavas Bava,
ISC President E.P. Abdurahiman, IBPC President Thaha Mohammed, ICC Advisory
Committee Chairman P.N. Baburajan, and ISC Advisory Committee Chairman Dr.
Abdusamad, Ashraf Chirakkal, ICC Advisory member and Chairman of Majestic, Haidar Chungathara graced the occasion. Their presence highlighted the significance of
the gathering, reflecting the strong sense of solidarity among community
organizations and their leaders.
The
Iftar reflected the cultural essence and warmth of Malappuram, making it an
evening to remember. Majestic General Secretary Vinod Puthan extended a warm
welcome, while President Nihad Ali led the function. The participation of
Indian Embassy Apex Body members, advisory committee representatives, and
socio-cultural leaders further emphasized the event’s importance.
Adding to the spiritual significance, Advisory Committee member Hussain Kadannamanna delivered a heartfelt Ramadan message, emphasizing the values of compassion, togetherness, and generosity. Attendees ended their fast in a warm and friendly atmosphere, making the Majestic Iftar a great example of unity and tradition.
