China has warned against attempts to change the government in Iran amid rising tensions in the Middle East, stating that such efforts would not receive popular support. Speaking in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged all parties to respect the sovereignty of Iran and other nations and called for an immediate halt to military operations to prevent further escalation in the region.
Wang
emphasized that conflicts cannot be resolved through force and urged all sides
to return to dialogue and negotiations. He also stressed that the affairs of
the Middle East should be decided by the countries in the region themselves,
warning against external interference and calling for efforts to restore
stability and peace.
