Doha, Qatar: The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy has confirmed that spectators attending the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 can travel on the Doha Metro free of charge by simply presenting their same-day match ticket at any station.

The initiative aims to ensure smooth and convenient transport for fans as Qatar prepares to welcome thousands of supporters from across the region for the tournament, which will take place from December 1 to 18, 2025.

With more than 700,000 tickets already sold, organisers anticipate a strong turnout, reflecting the region’s growing enthusiasm for football. The free metro service is expected to ease travel between stadiums, fan zones, and key locations across Doha, helping maintain efficient movement during the highly anticipated event.

The announcement comes as part of Qatar’s broader efforts to enhance the fan experience and ensure seamless connectivity during major international sporting events.
