Following the powerful earthquakes that shook Venezuela on Wednesday, the death toll has now risen to 1,430.
Speaking on state television Saturday, Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez, reported that 3,238 individuals have sustained injuries, and the calamity has impacted 3,142 families.
The country has experienced 430 light to moderate aftershocks following the initial magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 quakes, as per the latest government update on the national emergency.
