Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has revised the extended weekend holiday dates for government schools following the second semester mid-term exams.

The holiday has been postponed to April 22-23, instead of the previously announced April 8-9.

Private schools will keep the original dates, with their extended holiday remaining on Wednesday and Thursday, April 8-9, 2026, according to the approved annual calendar.

The Ministry had previously adjusted the mid-term exam schedule for grades 1 to 11, which will now be held from April 12 to 21, 2026.
